KHS Runner Andrew Lee Outpaces Competition to Set New Indoor Track Records!

In recent weeks, Kingston High School's Andrew Lee has set not just one, but two new indoor track records!

At the Nike Indoor Nationals on March 11, Lee set a new KHS record in the two-mile run with a time of 9 minutes, 20.56 seconds. He finished 4th in the Emerging Elite section and 7th overall in the state this indoor season.

On March 5 at the NYSPHSAA Indoor Track and Field Championships, Lee broke the previous Kingston record in the 3,200 meters, winning with a time of 9:17.95.

Lee also ran a personal best 4:23.87 in the mile run at the Ocean Breeze Elite Invitational on February 25.

This extremely skilled senior continues rewriting the Kingston record books with his outstanding indoor season performances. Congratulations to Andrew Lee!
