Kingston High School’s Andrew Lee continued his stellar cross-country season by finishing 55th out of 287 runners in Saturday’s New York State Federation Championships at Bowdoin Park.
Lee’s time of 17 minutes, 13.1 seconds over the tough five-kilometer course placed him seventh among Section 9 runners. The meet included competitors from Catholic and New York City high schools.
Last week, Lee finished 25th in Class A in the New York State Cross Country Championships in a time of 16:34.2 to qualify for Saturday’s Federation meet.
Lee will compete in the Nike Cross National Northeast Regional qualifier on Nov. 25 at Bowdoin Park.
