COVID-19 Rapid Test Kit Distribution - Now at Kingston High School

Due to the number of families anticipated to participate in the test kit distribution, we have changed the location to Kingston High School.

Test Kit distribution will now be at KHS on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (December 21-23) 4:00pm-6:00pm.

Please use Andrew Street to pull into the Bus Turnaround Entrance and proceed to the pick-up area at the top of the hill at the Salzmann Entrance. No need to exit your car, we will hand it through your window!

One test kit will be distributed for each student in your family.

Thank you for helping us keep KCSD healthy and safe!

The Kingston City School District has received COVID-19 Rapid Test Kits from the Ulster County Department of Health to distribute to our families.

These rapid test kits are for home use to determine if any symptoms presented are related to COVID-19 but cannot be used as a release at the end of a quarantine.  Picking up a test kit is completely voluntary, and a parent/guardian signature is required at the time of pick-up.

Test kits will be distributed at the Kingston High School on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (December 21 – 23) from 4:00-6:00pm.

At home rapid tests that result in a positive will need to be reported to the Ulster County Department of Health by calling (845) 443-8888 or online by visiting

Any student who tests positive will also need to be reported to their school nurse.

Please remember that any individual showing symptoms of COVID-19 should not come to school, regardless of vaccination status.

KCSD cares about the health of our students and their families and we are looking forward to giving our community a no-cost way to help keep each other safe.
