Honor Roll is Back for Grades 7-12

KCSD Secondary Families,

This year, changes have been made to the Grade 5 & 6 Report Cards to include both standards-based and numerical percentage grades for core courses. This update will provide a bridge from the elementary standards-based report card to the traditional percentage-based report card that begins in Grade 7.

Because of the change to a new hybrid report card for Grades 5 & 6, moving forward we will only have honor rolls for Grades 7-12, as these Grades only use the numeric percentages needed to determine honor roll status.

Honor Rolls for Grades 7-12 will be released approximately 2 weeks after report cards are published to Parent Portal.

As a reminder, below are the grade percentages necessary to qualify for KCSD Honor Roll:

Honor Roll: 84.50 – 89.49

High Honor Roll: 89.50 – 94.49

Highest Honor Roll: 94.50 – 100

(A student must complete and pass all classes in order to qualify for the honor roll)

Honor Rolls for the first marking period of the 2021-2022 school year will be released on or around December 6th.
