The Kingston City School District would like to recognize the kind donations recently made by Hannaford of the Kingston Plaza, Lowe’s Home Improvement, and Staples with help from local community members, officially accepted by the Board of Education at the board meeting on Wednesday, November 4.
These local businesses have given a bountiful array of items for the district to use as needed.
Staples graciously gave 500 care packages filled with school supplies including items like pens, pencils, rulers, and notebooks, among other classroom items for students in need.
Hannaford offered a large donation of Kleenex tissues, made up of 400 boxes to disperse.
E. C. Myer Elementary School received a hospitable gift of 500 KN95 masks from Lowe’s.
The support from the community does not go unnoticed and the KCSD appreciates every contribution received. While experiencing a global pandemic when nothing feels normal, it’s nice knowing the giving spirit lives on during this time.
Thank you to Hannaford, Lowe’s, Staples and community members, and to all that have donated to KCSD in the past. Your generosity is most valued.
