KCSD Technology Needs Survey
Dear KCSD Families,
As we begin the 2020-21 school year remotely, the district wants to ensure we are meeting the technology needs of our students. Please take the time to fill out this Technology Needs survey even if you own devices and do not need to borrow a Chromebook. We ask that everyone fill out the survey so that we can make sure we have heard from every household.
In order for us to best track the information we will require you to sign in with your student’s login information. You will need your student’s email (firstname.lastname@example.org) and password. This is the same information your student has been using to log into Teams, Office 365 and Clever since the spring. (If you have more than one student in the district, please sign in using your oldest student’s information.)
If you just registered your child for school, you received an email guiding you to the Parent Portal where you will find your new student’s ID number.
If your child does not know their Student ID Number (Lunch Number) it can be found on a report card, Parent Portal and their ID Badge.

We will be distributing Chromebooks within the next few weeks to ensure students are prepared for the beginning of school on September 8th. You will receive a text, email or phone call to let you know when you can pick up a Chromebook for your student(s). We will distribute in pre-arranged time slots at all schools to ensure safety measures are met.
Also, if you wish to purchase a laptop or other device to keep after a return from online learning, KCSD has reached out to our partner Dell for possible discounts on devices.
