KCSD Announces New Principal at GW Elementary

The Kingston City School District is excited to announce Mrs. Wanda LoBianco as the new Principal of George Washington Elementary School.

Mrs. LoBianco has been with the district since 2004, joining KCSD as a Special Education Teacher and CSE/CPSE committee member. She had years under her belt in New York City and Houston, Texas, as a Preschool, Special Education, and Middle School Teacher. She went on to expand her career with her Master’s in Administration from SUNY New Paltz where her studies led her to an internship at Robert Graves Elementary School. Wanda was quickly hired as the Vice Principal of J. Watson Bailey Middle School in 2009, where she stayed until 2017. Her last few years have been spent as the Principal at Myer Elementary School where her lessons of kindness, love, and empathy were spread among the entire school community as these teachings were weaved into daily school activities.

“It’s about building relationships and community. Leadership is not a title, it’s an action and example,” she stated. “I look forward to learning and leading with my heart as I take this journey with the George Washington community.”
