KCSD Swears in Temporary Board of Education Member

The Kingston City School District Board of Education has appointed Steven A. Spicer to fill the recent vacancy left by the resignation of Danielle Guido. Mr. Spicer was sworn in during the Board meeting on February 6 and will serve until May 22, 2019, after elections are held on May 21. Spicer joins the district with over 30 years of professional experience in Education as a former Teacher and Principal from the Hudson Valley.

Four seats will be opening on the BOE this year; three will serve 3-year terms and one will serve Ms. Guido’s remaining term through June 30, 2021. Guido’s term will be filled by the candidate earning the fourth highest number of votes on May 21.
