Sportsmanship is Everyone's Responsibility!

Attention, Kingston City School District (KCSD) sports fans! Whether you're cheering from the stands at home or supporting our teams on the road, remember that YOU are a representative of KCSD. Attending a sporting event is a privilege—an opportunity to witness student-athletes test their skills, not a license to verbally abuse others or be disruptive. Failure to demonstrate good sportsmanship at KCSD sporting events may result in ejection from the game and, in severe cases, a permanent ban from future games. Let’s make sure our school spirit shines in the best way possible!

Be a role model for good sportsmanship:

  • Cheer in a positive way that supports our teams.
  • Respect players, coaches, and officials at all times.
  • Avoid taunting or making derogatory remarks.
  • Do not interact with players, coaches or referees during the game.
  • Keep the game at a high level of sportsmanship.

Spectators play a huge role in fostering a great environment for student-athletes. Let’s make every game a reflection of the pride and integrity of KCSD.
