The Kingston City School District (KCSD) is proud to recognize our 2025 Distinguished Friend of Education awardee—Joe Beichert, Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Timely Signs.

For the past nine years, the Ulster County School Boards Association (UCSBA) has recognized champions of education nominated by each district's Board of Education. Mr. Beichert and other Friends of Education were celebrated during the UCSBA's annual dinner on November 20, held at The Venue Uptown in Kingston.

Mr. Beichert, Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Timely Signs, has supported KCSD for many years through generous contributions of signs, logos, and meaningful gifts for district events and individuals. His work has helped to celebrate milestones throughout KCSD schools.

When tragedy struck and two Kingston High School students passed away, Mr. Beichert and the team at Timely Signs responded with extraordinary compassion. Working alongside students and staff, they designed "Kingston Strong" shirts that helped unite the community in grief and healing. Neither Mr. Beichert nor Timely Signs made any profit from this endeavor, choosing instead to honor these young lives and support a community in mourning. The dedication of Mr. Beichert and everyone at Timely Signs enabled students, staff, and community members to show their solidarity during a devastating time.

Mr. Beichert also helped support the Kingston Tigers by working closely with Varsity Club advisors to design the Varsity Club Corner. This vibrant space now celebrates past and present student athletes at Kingston High School. His willingness to turn ideas into reality—always approaching requests with enthusiasm and a "yes" mindset—has made countless student and staff visions come to life.

Mr. Beichert is always ready and willing to help at every turn. He is a behind-the-scenes champion who makes time for anyone, approaching every project with genuine pride in Kingston’s schools and students, and deep investment in the broader school community. His quiet generosity and unwavering support continue to unite and inspire the Kingston community.

We congratulate Mr. Beichert and thank him for his extraordinary generosity, steadfast support, and unwavering commitment to our school community.
