Board of Education Election Details

Run for the Board of Education and support student success

The Kingston City School District Board of Education will have four seats on the ballot in the upcoming district election on May 19, 2026.

The three candidates receiving the highest number of votes will serve three-year terms beginning July 1, 2026 and ending June 30, 2029. The candidate with the fourth highest number of votes will serve a one-year term ending June 30, 2027.

Candidates interested in running are encouraged to begin the nomination process as soon as possible. Petitions must be submitted to the District Clerk no later than 5:00 p.m. on April 29, 2026.
