When the Kingston City School District gets confirmation of a positive COVID-19 case from the Department of Health we will add it to this page. A new message will be posted daily and all positive cases will be added to the chart below for 4 weeks.
Beginning on Monday, February 1, 2021 KCSD will no longer send the COVID positive updates in a text/email blast. Please "Bookmark" this page or "Add to Favorites" for easy future access. (Click on the star next to the web address above to save this page) We have also added a link to this page on the KCSD App.
July 19, 2021 Update
The Kingston City School District has been made aware of the following confirmed positive cases in schools:
Kingston High School - 1 Student positive - 1 Student quarantined
No quarantines are necessary when the student is remote only, has not been in-person at school for a period of 10 days or more before symptoms or diagnosis, or contact tracing determines that no exclusions are needed.
Following the regulations and guidelines, a positive test can only be confirmed as a positive case by the Ulster County Department of Health (UCDOH).
We will continue to communicate positive cases to our community as they are confirmed to us by the UCDOH.
If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact the Ulster County Department of Health at 845-443-8888.
Below is a 4-week running list of KCSD positive cases.
