P.E. Dress Code

  • Footwear: We ask that students do their best to carry in sneakers for class.  In the mornings the fields are very wet and sometimes muddy.  Our gym floor has also been refinished and we are trying to keep it as clean as possible.  Sneakers should fit properly and have shoe laces or Velcro to keep them in place.

Shorts/ Pants: Athletic shorts, sweat pants or wind pants are acceptable options for class.  Shorts must meet dress code standards (go below finger tips when student stands with their arms to their side) and be comfortable to move around in.  Shorts with excessive pockets, zippers and buttons are not acceptable.  Jeans pants and shorts are also not acceptable.

Shirts/ Sweatshirts:  Students should have loose crew neck tee shirts to wear for class.  Tank tops of any kind are not allowed.  Necklines must be high, and shirts should be long enough to cover the student's midsection when they lift their arms above their head.  As the weather gets colder it is recommended students bring a sweat shirt with them to class.  We will continue to go out side until Mid-November and we resume outside activity in Mid-March.

*We have these guidelines for the safety and well-being of our students.  If an individual student has a problem with any of these policies we ask that they speak to their teacher as soon as the problem arises.  We are here to help and will work with students to find a reasonable solution to any problem.
