  • On Thursday, April 25th, 5th grade students at Miller Middle School showcased what they learned about the Maya, Aztec and Inca at the first annual Ancient Civilization Museum Exhibit. Parents, teachers and administrators who visited the exhibit were able to view the students' projects and hear all about what made these ancient societies so complex.

The students truly became experts through this unit of study. We are so proud of their hard work and dedication to the event. A special thank you to all our visitors for helping make the exhibit such a huge success.

  • Students and Staff at Miller have been busy finding loose change to take part in Collect For Cures, a fundraiser to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

More than thirty members of the Miller community participated in the fundraiser to collect over 90 pounds of change, which resulted in raising $559.91!!!

Three students were awarded prizes for bringing in the heaviest bags of change.

    Chase Chapman - 1st Place, 17lbs.

    Zack Seery - 2nd Place, 12lbs.

    Zachary Schmidt - 3rd Place, 7lbs.

Special thanks to Ms. Augustine and students from her class who helped weigh all of the bags of coins to determine the winners. They were amazed at how spare change could turn into such a phenomenal donation to a great cause.
