The Kingston City School District will be hosting an Ulster County Career & Job Fair in April!
We welcome businesses, trade schools and certificate programs in the Hudson Valley region to participate in this evening event. We are inviting youth and community members, as well as neighboring communities to join!
We want to showcase the opportunities for young people in our community to obtain employment and/or to return to our community once they graduate.

Important Information for KHS Students and Parents
KHS Pick-up and Drop-off Instructions
Please note the following information for student pick-up and drop-off at KHS.
- Arrival time for students is between 7 and 8:30 am.
- Dismissal time is between 2 and 2:30 pm.
- During these times the campus is restricted to buses and staff vehicles only.
- It is recommended that parent’s drop-off on Broadway or Andrew Street.
- There is no student drop-off permitted in the parking lot off of Mary’s Avenue. This is reserved for staff only.

KHS Entry & Exit Points
For morning entry, all students will continue to use the following entrances:
- Salzmann Main
- Broadway Main
- Fieldhouse Front
However, during dismissal, all students will use the following exits only:
- Salzmann Main
- Broadway Main
- Including Stairwell Main 3
- Including Stairwell Main 4
- Fieldhouse Front
- East 02 Exit
- West 03 Exit
- Band room (for band students only)
All authorized doors will have a green marker and have a staff member present.
In an emergency, ALL doors may be used to exit the building.
Just a reminder-there are no outside food deliveries allowed for students at any time

988 is the new, three-digit number for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (NSPL). It is now available nation-wide.
988 is more than just an easy-to-remember number. It is a direct connection to caring support for anyone in mental health distress. This may include thoughts of suicide, substance-use crisis, and/or emotional distress.
988 is a free service available to everyone.
HOW TO CONTACT 988
You can contact 988 by chat, text, or phone.
Call or text 988 to be connected with a trained crisis counselor. When you call, you can access support in Spanish by pressing 2. Interpretation services are available in over 150 languages.

Working Papers
New procedures for working papers:
If you need working papers, please email the student's name, date of birth and school attending to mstreet@kingstoncityschools.org.
You may be contacted to complete needed paperwork so that working papers can be issued.
You will be contacted to pick up your working papers at the high school when they are completed. You MUST be present to sign the card in front of the issuing officer.
