This is a new program to enhance the partnership of our parents and the school. The first meeting focused on how parents can help their children with homework – based on input from a previous PTO meeting.

SAFETY AND SEATBELTS

The new dismissal routine has eliminated many potentially unsafe conditions for vehicles and pedestrians in front of the school. Your cooperation and patience is appreciated. Please be reminded about New York State’s Occupant Restraint Law:

• The driver and all front seat passengers must wear seat belts, one person per belt.
• All children under the age of four must be restrained in a child safety seat that meets Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards 213
• Children under the age of 16 riding in the back seat must wear seat belts

Please beware that even with advanced airbags, children can be seriously injured or killed.
