Special Education

We have a variety of programs including classes for students who require smaller class size due to learning, behavioral and/or physical needs.

Related services include: Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Teacher of the Visually Impaired, Teacher of the Deaf, Multi-Sensory Language Therapy, and Teacher of the Blind for mobility training.

Specialty programs include a class at the elementary level for children who are hearing impaired or deaf, four classes at the elementary level and two classes in the middle schools to which students with behavioral challenges are assigned.

Staff includes: CSE Chair, CSE Assistant Chair, 3 non-administrative part-time coordinators, support office personnel, special education teachers, related service providers and special education paraprofessionals.
