Community Invited to February 8th Forum on Budget Planning Community members are invited to share ideas at a roundtable discussion to identify community priorities for the Kingston City School District budget in the upcoming 2010-2011 school year. A Community Forum will be held on Monday, February 8, 2010 from 6-8 PM at George Washington Elementary School located at 67 Wall Street in Kingston. The District feels it is important to listen to the community’s voice when formulating a budget for the upcoming school year, especially with a tough economy and significant cuts to New York State Education Aid. “Our schools are here to serve our community, and we want their help in the difficult choices we must make as we focus on balancing fiscal responsibility with the needs of our students,” says Superintendent Gerard M. Gretzinger.
