The
second grade students in Mary Beth Koch's class at George Washington Elementary School enjoyed a unit on dinosaurs. Students made dioramas displaying dinosaurs in prehistoric times. Students in Grades Pre-K through 3 were invited to attend a "Dinosaur Diorama Show" to enjoy student displays, listening to dinosaur facts, hearing dinosaurs roar, observing rocks and fossils with magnifying glasses, and playing at the touch and play table!
Mrs. Koch has been doing the show for the past four years with her second grade classes and says, "It is a great way to get students excited about learning!"
