Planning for 2008-2009 KHS Program of Studies

2008-2009 Course of Study Guide
High School Guidance Counselor Presentations to 8th Graders

Kingston High School students and current eighth graders at Bailey and Miller middle schools will soon be working with their guidance counselors to plan their course of study for September. It's an exciting, busy and important time.

Middle Schools

  • The guidance counselors working with the 8th grade at Miller are Michele Drewnowski, Lisa Anson and Scott Ricketson, and Ida Gooch works with the 8th graders at Bailey. They will soon be meeting with their current 8th grade students to select courses for 9th grade at KHS. Counselors from KHS will be speaking to the current 8th graders on March 6th and 7th. JWB – March 6th and MCM March 7th.

Kingston High School

  • At KHS, guidance counselors Alan Aidala, Lindsay Hartman, Karen Madonna, Lyn Umble, Dena Roy, Jay Dorin, Mary McClellan and Cherelyn Volpert will soon be setting up individual meetings with students to select courses for next year.

Students at all schools have received or will be receiving the Course Selection Guide for 2008 -2009. In this guide there is some very helpful information for students and parents regarding graduation requirements and courses offered. This Course Selection Guide is here for you to look over, and if you have any questions, feel free to contact your child’s school counselor.
