Community members are invited to share ideas at a roundtable discussion to identify community priorities for the Kingston City School District budget in the upcoming 2010-2011 school year. A Community Forum will be held on Monday, February 8, 2010 from 6-8 PM at George Washington Elementary School located at 67 Wall Street in Kingston.

Take The Survey Online Anytime Thru February 15
The
Board of Education is conducting a survey to measure the community’s response in evaluating the need to undertake a capital improvement project for Kingston High School. All District residents have the opportunity to provide feedback by participating in an online version of the survey. Research and Marketing Strategies Inc., an independent market research firm located in Baldwinsville, is administering the survey. All responses will be kept confidential and reported to the District in summary.

Because of changes to the New York State testing program, there is a change to the school calendar. Superintendent's Conference Day scheduled for Friday, April 23, 2010 is now a full day of school. Autism Spectrum Discussion Group
The Kingston City School District offers parents of children with Autism Spectrum Disorders a monthly information and discussion group facilitated by Edie Jones Schwimmer, LCSW, certified school social worker. The next meeting is Wednesday, February 24 from 6:00-7:00pm at Chambers Elementary School.
